We read everything that comes in. Using the right address gets your message to the right person faster, so please pick from the list below rather than sending everything to the general inbox.
Which address to use
General enquiries
[email protected] — anything that does not fit the categories below: questions about the site, reader feedback, republishing requests, speaking or interview requests, and technical problems with the website itself (broken pages, newsletter sign-up trouble, accessibility issues).
Editorial and corrections
[email protected] — factual errors, outdated information, requests to update an article, and news tips. If you are reporting a correction, please include the article URL, the exact sentence you believe is wrong, and a source we can check. Corrections handled this way are usually the fastest thing we do. Our Editorial Policy explains how corrections are marked once published.
Story pitches and contributions
[email protected] with Pitch at the start of the subject line. Before pitching, read Write For Us — it sets out what we accept, what we reject outright, and what a usable pitch looks like. Pitches that ignore it are declined without a detailed reply, simply because of volume.
Privacy requests
[email protected] — access, correction, deletion, opt-out and data-portability requests, newsletter unsubscribe problems, and questions about how we handle personal information. Tell us which right you are exercising and give us enough detail to locate your information. If you are unhappy with our response, you can raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada through its Report a concern page.
Legal notices
[email protected] — formal legal correspondence, service of documents, regulatory enquiries and complaints about the site’s terms. Please do not send routine questions here; it slows down matters that are genuinely time-sensitive.
Copyright and DMCA
[email protected] — copyright infringement notices, counter-notices and image attribution disputes. A valid notice has specific statutory requirements; our DMCA page explains what a complete notice must contain. Incomplete notices cannot be acted on, so please include everything the first time.
Advertising and partnerships
[email protected] — display advertising, newsletter placements, sponsored content enquiries and media kit requests. See Advertise With Us for formats, rules and lead times. Unsolicited link-buying and link-exchange offers are deleted unread.
Post and phone
NextTechBlog
Attn: Lyssia Dasari
3330 Old Vernon Rd
Kelowna, BC V1X 6P3
Canada
Phone: +1 (250) 979-6360
We are a small team in the Pacific time zone. Phone is best for time-sensitive matters; for anything with detail in it, email gets a better answer because it reaches the person who can actually deal with it.
Response times
We aim to respond to every legitimate message within five business days. Corrections and privacy requests are prioritised. Pitches can take the full five days, and sometimes longer during busy periods — if you have not heard back after ten business days, a single polite follow-up is welcome.
Statutory deadlines that apply to privacy or copyright requests are separate from this target and are handled within the timeframes the relevant law requires.
How to get a fast answer
- Use a specific subject line. “Correction: TSMC article, wrong node date” beats “Question”.
- Include the URL of any page you are writing about.
- Quote the exact text you are asking about, rather than describing it.
- Link your source. If you are telling us something is wrong, show us what is right.
- Say what you want to happen. A correction, a reply, a callback, a media kit — tell us the outcome you are after.
- Send plain text or PDF attachments only, and keep them under 10 MB. We do not open executables, archives or shared-drive links from senders we do not know.
- Disclose any interest. If you work for, represent, or are paid by a company involved, say so up front. It does not disqualify your message; concealing it does.
What we cannot help with
We are a publication, not a support desk. We cannot provide personal technical support — diagnosing a device, recovering an account, removing malware, or troubleshooting software you read about here. Please contact the manufacturer or vendor directly.
We also cannot give individual product recommendations by email (“which laptop should I buy?”), nor can we offer legal, financial, investment, medical or security-consulting advice. Our articles are general information only; see our Disclaimer.
We do not accept unsolicited guest posts sent as complete drafts, requests to insert links into existing articles, or offers to buy links. We do not remove accurate, sourced reporting because a company would prefer it were not published — though we will always correct a genuine factual error.
Contact form
If a contact form is displayed below this section, you can use it instead of email for general enquiries; anything submitted through it reaches our general inbox and is handled in the same way and to the same response-time target. If you do not see a form, or if your message concerns privacy, legal, copyright or advertising matters, please use the relevant email address above — those are always the more reliable route, and some of them are the only route that meets legal requirements for formal notices.
Whatever you send us, please do not include passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers or other sensitive personal information. Email and web forms are not secure channels, and we will ask you to resend without them.
